Alacazam is a custom built 38ft cruising cutter designed by the British designer and boat builder Andrew Simpson & Associates and constructed in the UK lead by Andrew in a partnership known as RQC Yachts Rather Quick Cruising Yachts. Andrew Simpson is known as the associate editor of Practical Boat Owner – a popular yachting publication in the UK. The design ethos was that Alacazam should be reasonably quick, robust, easy to sail and maintain, with practical live-aboard accommodation. From the cockpit, sails can be easily handled. Below she is well thought out, light and airy in an open plan design.
Current owner purchased her in March of 2024 in Grenada but decided to return to the states.
